Hermia Challoner, a wealthy young American in France, rides violent horses at dawn and does exactly as she likes, to her maid’s despair and her ineffectual aunt’s alarm. A chance encounter with a painter leaves the pair marooned together in the countryside, passing themselves off at a peasant’s table, and a madcap adventure becomes a romance.
Light, sunny romantic comedy from an American illustrator-novelist. Download the free EPUB.
