Written from memory in 1905 by two veterans and a comrade’s diary, this short history follows an Alabama artillery battery of the Confederate army from its organisation in Tuscaloosa in 1861 through the western campaigns, including the fighting around Atlanta in 1864. It ends with a roster of the men who served.
