A Hollywood studio sends a company into the African jungle to shoot a jungle picture, complete with a pampered star cast as the Lion Man who bears an uncanny likeness to Tarzan. Mutiny, poisoned arrows and hostile warriors scatter the expedition, and the real Lord of the Jungle finds himself confronting a hidden valley where gorillas speak English and hold court like Henry VIII and Wolsey.
Burroughs in a satirical mood, poking fun at Hollywood while delivering full-strength jungle adventure. Download the free EPUB.
