Short of money, Tarzan returns to the treasure vaults of Opar, while Albert Werper, a disgraced officer at a lonely Congo post, plots with the slaver Achmet Zek to rob him. An earthquake leaves Tarzan without his memory, La the high priestess wants him for her god’s altar, and Jane is carried off from the Greystoke estate.
Classic serial-era Tarzan, full of chases and double-crosses, with colonial-era assumptions about Africa throughout. Download the free EPUB.
