Captain Riggs would rather not have this story told: his steamer, the Kut Sang, was a humble cargo boat, and what happened aboard her in the China Sea still troubles him. A young journalist joins the ship amid spies, a red-headed beggar, a missionary and a dead man in the passage, and soon the crew is fighting for its life against Thirkle and his gang.
A fast-moving piracy yarn of the Far East, for readers who like their sea stories crowded with suspects. Download the free EPUB.
