Boston radio engineer Myles Cabot, transported by radio to the planet Venus in earlier adventures, finds himself back there and cut off from his wife, Princess Lilla, and baby Kew. To reach them in the kingdom of Cupia he must survive a coup, lose himself among the rocks, deal with the Vairkings and the giant ant-men, and rely on his radio skill.
