An impoverished Italian of good family, reduced to parading the Paris boulevards as a living advertisement for a ballet, is rescued by an offer to tutor a wealthy young American. The work draws him into the young man’s hopeless devotion to a beautiful lady, and into a chivalrous scheme of his own.
A short, wistful Paris romance from the author of The Magnificent Ambersons, told in a voice of gentle comedy. Download the free EPUB.
