Alone in her father’s country house one night, Alice Gardner discovers three professional burglars, Gentleman Joe Hatch, Reddy the Kid and a companion, at work downstairs. Instead of screaming, she sets out to talk, flatter and trick them into staying until help can arrive.
A brisk, witty one-act play that is still easy to stage. Download the free EPUB.
