A romantic young poet has written passionate verses to a married woman, and now the poems are missing and likely to fall into her husband’s hands. As the pair argue over how to explain them away, the husband arrives, and Shaw turns the old love-triangle farce upside down. A preface explains the play was written in four rainy days for Arnold Daly.
A brisk one-act comedy, sharp as anything Shaw wrote. Download the free EPUB.
