Jerry Benham is brought up under a great experiment: kept on an isolated estate with tutors and athletics, shielded from the corruptions of the world and above all from women. The narrator, a scholarly guardian committed to the scheme, records what happens when Eve enters the garden, a minx returns, and Jerry finally emerges to take on life by himself.
A light satire on ideas of education and innocence, with a romantic heart beneath the comedy. Download the free EPUB.
