Tom Corbett, Roger Manning and Astro, the cadet crew of the rocket cruiser Polaris, are training with the Solar Guard when a new assignment sends them far into deep space. Along the way they deal with a shady spaceman named Shinny, a ship hidden in a jungle and the hazards of travel beyond the known planets, with technical advice credited to the rocket writer Willy Ley.
A brisk 1950s space-cadet adventure for young readers who like rockets, teamwork and a dash of real science. Download the free EPUB.
