Attributed to Ocellus of Lucania, a follower of Pythagoras, though probably written later, this short Greek treatise argues that the universe was never generated and will never perish. Thomas Taylor, the Platonist translator, adds a fragment on laws preserved by Stobaeus, Taurus on the eternity of the world, and extracts from Proclus and Julius Firmicus Maternus.
