A manual-training teacher sets out how children can build their own wooden toys instead of buying factory ones. After a short history of toy-making he covers tools, laying out work, transferring designs to wood and finishing in colour, then gives measured plans for miniature furniture, jointed animals, carts and dolls cut from bass or whitewood.
A practical and charming project book for parents, teachers and woodworkers who want to make toys by hand. Download the free EPUB.
