Saniel is a gifted young doctor in Paris with no money, no patients to speak of, and a career about to collapse for want of a few thousand francs. When a rich man refuses him and every last resort fails, he crosses a line he had argued himself across in theory. Malot follows what happens afterwards, in court, in love and in his own mind.
A dark psychological novel of guilt and self-justification from the author of Sans Famille. Download the free EPUB.
