Miriam is born in a prison at Caesarea in the reign of Herod Agrippa, daughter of Christian parents, and grows up among the Essenes with her devoted nurse Nehushta. Loved by the Roman officer Marcus and by her fierce Jewish cousin Caleb, she is swept into the Jewish revolt and the Roman siege of Jerusalem under Titus.
Haggard brings his flair for spectacle to the first century, with the siege of Jerusalem at its heart. Download the free EPUB.
