When the Danish chief Lodbrok is washed ashore at Reedham in a North Sea fog, his welcome at the East Anglian court and his quarrel with Beorn the falconer set off a chain of vengeance. Wulfric, a young thane of King Edmund, is swept from hunting and courtly justice to Jutland and back, as the great Danish invasion of England gathers.
A solid, well-researched Anglo-Saxon adventure for young readers fond of Vikings and old English history. Download the free EPUB.
