The little kingdom of Ragbad in Oz is falling to pieces, and its prince, Tatters, sets out to seek his fortune with the peppery old soldier Grampa and a talking weathercock named Bill. Their quest for a lost princess leads through the Blue Forest, down a hollow tree, into a wizard’s garden and among the fire people, with Dorothy bound to be in the middle of things.
