On the porch at Tanglewood the student Eustace Bright tells a group of children how young Perseus was sent to bring back the head of Medusa. Helped by the quick-witted Quicksilver, he must outwit the three old sisters who share a single eye, find winged slippers and an invisible helmet, and face the snake-haired Gorgon without looking at her.
