In 1400, after a failed plot against Henry IV, Lord Falworth is ruined and goes into hiding. His son Myles grows up to enter a great earl’s household as a squire, where he must survive bullying, learn to fight in armour and win the friendships and favour he will need to clear his father’s name.
A vivid picture of knightly training in the Middle Ages, long a favourite of young readers. Download the free EPUB.
