Henry Salt and Frank Sanborn gathered fifty of the poems Thoreau wrote, most of them before he turned twenty-six. Some first appeared in Emerson’s Dial or inside A Week and Walden; others came from his sister Sophia after his death. They range from Sic Vita and The Fisher’s Boy to verses on friendship, inspiration and the Concord woods.
A side of Thoreau most readers never meet, and a fine companion to Walden. Download the free EPUB.
