Sebastian Evans translates the Old French romance known as Perlesvaus. King Arthur has fallen into idleness, the Fisher King lies wounded, and the Grail castle must be won back from evil. Perceval, Gawain and Lancelot ride through forests, enchanted castles and battles in a quest that mingles chivalry with Christian mysticism.
A strange and beautiful Arthurian romance in a translation admired for its archaic prose. Download the free EPUB.
