Old Mother West Wind turns loose the Merry Little Breezes over the Green Meadows, and Jimmy Skunk is puzzled to see Old Mr. Toad bustling off somewhere with unusual purpose. Peter Rabbit tags along with his endless questions, learning how a toad catches flies with his sticky tongue and why he makes his springtime journey.
Burgess slips real natural history into every chapter, which makes this an ideal read-aloud for curious young children. Download the free EPUB.
