Snowed in at Mrs. Allen’s house in New York City, Prudy, her sister Dotty and their cousins Horace and little Fly hatch a queer idea: to set up housekeeping of their own. Borrowed jewels, oranges, a Mother Hubbard dinner, a visit to Trinity Church and sleigh rides follow, each with its small lesson in pride, kindness and good temper.
A gentle nineteenth-century story of childhood play, best shared with young readers. Download the free EPUB.
